Mashine Munene

SMD and Chief Executive Officer

Mashine is a Senior Managing Director and the chief executive officer at Locus. Mashine is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities, client relationships and business development.

Before joining Locus, Mashine began his career at Acorn Management as an associate Project manager for two years and then joined TMS Consulting group as a senior project manager. Later, he served as a real estate investment associate of British American Asset managers.

Mashine is a qualified Development Manager, trained in the University of Nairobi, BA Building Economics, Prince2 Foundation certified, holds an MSc in Finance, UON and a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya.

Nyambura Mutahi

SMD and Chief Financial Officer

Nyambura is a Senior Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Locus. Nyambura has management responsibility over the firm’s finance, technology, and corporate development functions.

Nyambura holds a BA Economics & Sociology degree from the University of Nairobi. She is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya and a Certified Securities and Investment Analyst. She has over five years of banking and finance experience from the Pan African Bank- Eco bank in various capacities.

Betty Musyoki

Non-Executive Director

Betty Musyoki is a seasoned real estate professional with over 13 years of related work experience in various aspects of Shopping Center Management and mixed use developments with a strong managerial background of senior level experience who possess a good understanding of retail markets and trends.

She was previously a Director for Broll Kenya responsible for property management and leasing. Prior to that she served in the Board of Village Market Shopping Centre and was responsible for the management of the mall. She successfully completed the pre-opening set up, launch and ongoing management of Garden City Mall, The Hub Karen, Buffalo Mall and Adlife Plaza and was involved in award winning mall redevelopment concepts for Village Market including a food court, washrooms and the extension of the mall.

Betty holds an MBA in Emerging Markets from the University of Liverpool, is a trained Shopping Centre Manager, a Registered Estate Agent, a member of the International, South African, Middle East and Kenyan Council of Shopping Centres and also the convener and founder member of the Shopping Centre Association of Kenya.
